Transferred in Company F, 66th Infantry Regiment North Carolina on 02 October 1863.	

John enlisted in Confederate Army in Lenoir County on May 15, 1862 at age 30.  
He was in the 66th Regiment, Company C, in the NC infantry department.  He 
lived in area that is now Trent Township.  Was married to Demaris Hill.
