Reddin Turner Carr - son of Benagah B. Carr and Sally Cobb

Residence: Newton Grove, Sampson County, North Carolina 
Occupation: Farmer & Carpenter 

Service Record: 

Enlisted as a Private on 10 June 1861 in Clinton, Sampson County at the age of 22
Enlisted in Company I, 20th Infantry Regiment North Carolina on 10 June 1861 

Captured September 14, 1862 at Crampton Gap  
Released in prisoner exchange on November10, 1862.
Severely Wounded at Chancellorsville, May 3, 1863
Died Nov 6, 1906 in Newton Grove, NC at age of 67.
