    The Confederate Veteran for July, published at Nashville, Tennessee, will contain 
    sketches of from ten to twenty lines about the six hundred Confederate officers “who 
    were subjected to the severest prison fare and placed under the Confederate cannon 
    in Charleston harbor.”  Publication is deferred until July in the hope that as nearly a
     complete record as possible may be secured.  The North Carolina members of the 
    “six hundred” are given as follows:
