Williams, Allen Private: -Born in Jones County and enlisted at Fort Lane 
on Sept 11, 1861 in the 27th NC Infantry, company I, Known as the 
"Southern Rights Infantry".  Present or accounted for until he died on or 
about 26 April 1862 as a prisoner at New Bern NC, during Civil War.  
Cause of death not reported, Battle for New Bern occurred around 14 
March 1862
