Lorenzo Sevier PRESSLEY was born 20 Jan 1840 in South Carolina. He died 8 Jun 1917 in 
Black Mountain, Buncombe County, NC and was buried in Mountain View Baptist Church 
Cemetery, Black Mountain, NC.

Lorenzo married Sarah C. "Sallie" POWERS, daughter of Jesse POWERS and Sarah 
"Sallie" CREASMAN, about 1865 in Jackson County, NC. Sarah was born about 1850 
in Buncombe County, NC. She died 8 Jul 1928 in Black Mountain, Buncombe County, 
NC and was buried in Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery, Black Mountain, NC.

Confederate Soldier, 60th North Carolina Infantry, Private. GG-Granddaughter proud to be 
a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy through his service in the War 
Between the States.
